23 Weeks

And I forgot to mention the BEST news from yesterday. I don't have a UTI! WOOT! I've had one since my 16 week appt. so I'm pretty excited that my urine dip was clean. Especially since the babies have been making it hard to pee lately. I was expecting to see some leukocytes in there. I'm not sure if it's because I got rid of the BV or because I'm lucky or because drinking literally a gallon of water a day flushed it all out of there.

How your baby's growing:

Your baby is more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango). His skin is red and wrinkled. Blood vessels in his lungs are developing to prepare him for breathing. He can swallow, but he normally won't pass his first stool (called meconium) until after birth. Loud noises heard often in utero — such as your dog barking or the roar of a vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze your baby when he hears them outside the womb.
