Walked into the living room this morning to find an apple next to Claire's face. I sort of laughed and told Isabella the babies cannot have apples yet. They don't have any teeth!
Came back to find that she took me seriously and went hunting for something SOFT for them to eat! She was feeding Ben her yogurt! Rather, she was coating Ben's face in yogurt and he was licking/slurping/flailing about trying to get it into his mouth. It was rather amusing.
As far as first foods go, I probably wouldn't have picked a dairy product but it could have been worse. Izzy's own first food was a couple of Cheerio's that Noah shoved in her mouth at the ripe old age of 3 weeks. So a few spoonfuls of plain, organic, full fat yogurt isn't such a bad thing at 4.5 months! Heeheehee
He was loving it but he's still going to have to wait another 6 weeks until we make that a daily habit. ;-)
